It is a kids area and family area, it is already bad enough u smell weed down there when u take ur kids to play on the grass and finding condoms down by the water and soccer field make it good for our kids again

I’ve gone to the willows since I was a child, now 41, and continue to go every summer! My family’s been going since at least the 40’s…with so many amazing pictures of them at the beaches there! One of my favorite places!

I have been going to the Willows since I was a little girl, I am now 71 and still like going when I can especially for the popcorn.

I absolutely oppose bringing any sort of liquor establishment to Salem Willows. It is a family park that my family has been going to for generations. To bring that level of patrons, and what type of patrons it would attract, would remove the entire family aspect. It would be unfortunate to lose the very thing that the Salem Willows was created to do.

A bar will change the entire purpose of going to the Willows. People don’t need to drink alcohol at the Willows. There’s plenty of bars in Salem and only One Willows. Adding alcohol will lead to forever changing the environment of the best little family attraction around!

A 179 seat bar doesn't fit in with the space, area or demographic. Add in the lack of parking along with encroaching on the neighboring homes and it is a recipe for disaster. Zoning and use should never allow such an establishment within feet of private homes.

Agree. This is a family friendly park area. Opening a club vibe with drinks all day could cause havoc.
