I am opposed to using this license. The Willows is a family friendly, child populated park. It is no place for a bar.

The Salem willows has always been a safe place for families to spend time with their children. Alcohol establishments have no place in the equation. Lets keep it kid friendly, keeping the peace

The willows is a family destination for all ages. Do not spoil this special place in Salem.

The Willows has always been a family type park. Whether hanging out for a picnic, rides or food stop. I think it would be dangerous to the families and children, by having people drinking and driving through a congested parking lot.

Please preserve the integrity of the history of the Salem willows by not building a new bar on its premises.

Salem Willows is one of the most diverse spaces on the North Shore. The Park and the businesses on the strip are used by people of all ages, abilities, ethnic and racial backgrounds. The Willows is a place for those who do not have a backyard or green space. It is a place for family-friendly activities, athletics, amusement. It is home to day camps, outdoor classrooms, beaches, special needs outings, senior citizens outings, school outings, organized annual picnics. A bar is inconsistent with the character of this much-beloved and well-used location. The City of Salem Licensing Board has ample grounds to deny this application and shjould deny this application.
