This is absolutely the worst idea for the willows!! More traffic , no parking BUT most importantly not fair to the residents!!!!

The Willows is a family oriented place and has been for many generations. A bar will modify the whole meaning of what is forever…

I am a Salem native and have visited the Salem Willows Park for many, many years. The fact that the Salem Willows is free of alcohol is a benefit to all who enjoy the park. I oppose any alcohol licenses being allowed at the Salem Willows Park.

I agree with others who have made the point that the Willows, as is, is a family-friendly place for people of all socioeconomic strata who want to enjoy nature and inexpensive entertainment. Why change its DNA?

Keep the bar out of the Willows. Keep it a family park. It would be a terrible mistake to approve this.

It will forever change the family attitude at the Willows...for some folks, it is the only place they can safely afford to take their families for a day out...keep it a family destination.

A former resident of Salem, and a visitor of Salem Willows, I strongly recommend that this Willows Tavern not be allowed. It would only invite the wrong crowds to a Family Venue. The surrounding neighborhood deals with enough as it is.
Why do people feel they need to add alcohol to such a wholesome and family venue! Big mistake!

I’m a Salem resident and believe this establishment will be detrimental to the Willows and adjacent neighborhoods..
