Help save the local business Russells Hauling. Joseph Russell, owner of Russells Hauling, is being harrassed and threatened to he shut down by Charles Umphred. Russells Hauling is a business that buys scrap metals at higher prices than just about any other scrap yard around here and then sells the scrap out to other companies to be reused. Mr. Russell employs local people and provides a way to provide for their families including his own. Mr. Umphred harrass Mr. Russell with constant calls to the authorities including Osha and Dep, which have found no violations, and police and fire department have showed up on numerous occasions for reports from Mr. Umphred and showed up and found no one was even at the building, but this is not satisfactory to Mr. Umphred who still continues to harrass and call the police on Mr. Russell on almost a daily basis. Mr. Russell was denied his permits through counsil, but has an upcoming court date to go in front of a judge to try to keep his doors open. Please help us to keep this local business open and local people employeed, there are enough people in the unemployment line and we should not allow Mr. Umphred to put more people there and give those employess no way to provide for their families, and not allow Mr. Umphred to think harrassing people and making false accusations against someone and using the tax dollars of others and the police to satisfy his own needs. When is enough enough?
