They should be remembered with respect. Grant owned a slave himself. Sherman hated them. Lincoln said if he could win the war without freeing a single slave he would. He had planned on sending them all out of the country once freed. Union soldiers deserted by the thousands when Lincoln brought up slavery. They said they were fighting to preserve the union but they would not fight to free a single N. There were slaves in the north but the south is always the villain. The true history of the civil war is not told.

I support the cause of a confederation of states, and I support, and idolize general Lee as one of the greatest men that the south has ever seen.

I think it's time to change America. All soldiers,both north and south,should be remembered
