Please note that the Petition posted my Comment here before I completed a Profile, and I don't know why, but they listed my city as Warrenton, VA, which is incorrect. It should read Union Grove, NC, USA which is now listed on my Profile. Robin Osorio

Have the BBC gone totally mad???It's one of the few decent programes they make. I suppose they want to save money for their next bonus.

I'm American and find this to be a very interesting, well written, well performed, well set TV series. I hope two more Seasons are in order. Please continue Ripper Street. It's quite compelling television viewing.

Huge mistake to axe this enthralling, brilliantly acted piece of drama. I felt there was so much more of Victorian London, and the startlingly fresh and complex characters to discover. Please reconsider.
