This drama is an absolute gem and I think as licence payers our voices need to be heard! Please BBC reconsider this decision.

High production values, excellent acting, imaginative story lines. Let's schedule it against Joey Moron east grubs with a higher IQ and then say the market doesn't want it. BBC is not supposed to compete against Plebvision. What next Dr Who against Ive got no talent but my Gran has Just Died

The best drama series the BBC has ever made, please don't axe it! Give it another (better)time-slot, it absolutely deserves it! The BBC should be proud of such a high quality drama with superb writers and actors (not to mention the crew) and not kill it! After an episode at home we have days of discussion about history and philosophy, thanks to Ripper Street. Is it so much to ask to have some intelligent drama on tv. This makes me so sad and disappointed in the BBC. I thought better of you!

I am totally shocked. Ripper Street is a truly brilliant tv series, don't know how I will cope without at least one more series. Spend our licence money on decent programmes like this and not boring drivel like Eastenders, which is well

Ripper Street is the best thing on TV at the moment. It's an excellent, gripping drama, with profoundly beautiful moments. Why axe something with so much potential?

Not only is Ripper Street an exciting and interesting television series, it is also a significant work of cultural commentary. As such it should be allowed to continue to it's natural and artistic conclusion.
