BBC don't be stupid. Don't screen this at the same time as other popular programmes. It's an excellent series and should sell well to the USA; once they understand the history aspects.

axing it now is an appalling decision. if audiences are falling then the move from Sunday to Monday wouldn't have helped (weekday nights did not seem right at all) and it was put up against the jungle (not that i watched it). please bbc reconsider and give us more Ripper Street
