I am originally from Eastern Kentucky and there is so little to do in most any county for entertainment. Richmond Raceway was one of the few complex's left in the dirt racing industry in all of Kentucky.
We now live in Brown County, OH and spent two years driving all the way from OH to Madison County every weekend to race. We stopped at Richmond gas stations, bought parts in Richmond stores and ate at Richmond restaurants.
The county government must have some alternate motive to shutter this place without considering it's effects on people across Eastern Kentucky.

I grew up going out to the races at this little track, many family memories here. Big and small bussinesses prosper from this place....i fail to see an issue with it remaining in operation!

This brings revenue to Madison Co. Racers come from all around to race here. This means they are eating in Madison Co. Staying at a hotel in Madison Co and purchasing fuel in Madison co.

take a drive through downtown Richmond and take in the view of the druggies out in public blasted out of their mind, this track is no where near a problem it's an opportunity. The area around the track grew knowing it was there so in what right does anyone have to crowd it out. The county as a whole should have 1000 other things to concern themselves with other than a buisness that is open and prosperous or perhaps they prefer empty buildings and properties like most of the city and county.

Plenty of money spent in Madison county on each Saturday thru race season racers buy fuel stop eat in the area very nice family owned race track Richmond is draws a big crowd all those fans buy fuel to get there . We travel from eastern ky to race there if people close to the track complain about the noise of a place that’s been there doing the same thing every wknd thru the summer for 53 or 54 yrs then there the problem . would ya want to shut down a McDonald’s cause to much traffic there ? Lord no ! Really good family bought this race track to live the dream of running there own race complex just like anyone else that wanted a business of there own but a few want to shut it down or put a time limit on how to run there business! That ridiculous !! Bill lupinos carry on brother you rock stand your ground the raceing community has your back brother !!!

This institution has been in Madison Co. for many years. It has kept many of our young people off the streets on a Saturday night, and gave them something to enjoy besides going out and getting in trouble with drugs or something else. We NEED Richmond Raceway in Madison Co. Please leave it alone!
