Toronto is supposed to be a "City Within a Park", and the fact of the matter is that there are many dog owners in this city. Off-leash areas are a vital part in regulating responsible dog ownership. It just doesn't make sense to force dog owners to stay away from parks...

t is ridiculous that one or two people can prevent a whole neighbourhood of dogowners from enjoying this neighbourhood offleash area, an area that has been a staple of this neighbourhood for years. This should have been contemplated when purchasing a property backing onto greenspace. Do these same owners demand that the school be closed down when kids come to practice their soccer skills at 7 in the morning in preparation for a tournament? Will the school board oblige?

Please save this spot, but up a barrier of some kind to keep the kids safe but we need this spot to exercise our dogs

It would be such an utter shame to exclude part of our community by closing the off-leash dog park. The dog owners that attend that park are responsible and it's a wonderful way to exercise our loved ones, while connecting with others in our local community

I am surprised that the city does not see the community building value of having people come together almost daily who have an interest in public spaces and the neighbourhood!

Off-leash area is integral to community. Many homeowners include this among their criteria when purchasing property in this area.

It's not only one or two bad apples. I have witnessed many who have taken this area for granted over the years. You all need to police Rennie Park and stand together against these irresponsible people. As the original founder of this leash free zone. Myself and others would patrol on a daily basis. If only to educate others of the importance of this leash free area to the community. Unfortunately, I no longer have a dog and do not live in the area. It would be a shame to lose all the hard work that was placed into finally getting this gem.

Please keep the off-leash area!! I love walking my dog there in all the seasons. It's beautiful and my dog loves it. It's so close and easily accessible.

Just moved to the area, was very happy that there was an off-leash park. Hopefully it stays, otherwise, we'll be driving to one that is much further away.
