The roller rink has been one of my favorite childhood memories. I remember going for birthday party’s or for Girl Scout events. It’s so much fun!?

I loved going to the rink to skate and to watch roller derby! bring back some good wholesome fun. P.S. if I have to wear a mask while skating, then so be it!

RRR was the last Peninsula roller rink and was a beloved home to many, including the Peninsula Roller Derby league and events such as Rainbow Skate, for years. What a joy it would be to bring it back! Wholesome exercise and fun for the whole family and the extended community.

The rink is an absolute good. Closing it for any other business venture is capitalism at it's worst.

It is great exercise that brings everyone back to the sense of fun they had as a child. Please be the city that offers this to the community.

I remember my childhood days at that roller rink. Was so much fun. It's imperative to have a venue like this for children, families and adults to use as an outlet.

My son loves going roller skating. This is a great gathering place for school events also!! We were welcomed into the community at this skate rink for a skate night through our PTA. although it needed some much love we still had a blast.

Roller rinks are a dying breed but with the explosion of interest in skating due to quarantine and TikTok, there should always be a safe, fun, accessible place for new comers to learn and love the sport.

Recreation and culture should be a top priority for developments in towns and cities. This Rink has a long, beautiful history in RWC - just watch the documentary "United Skates" and you'll see how important this one is.
