There is a Smiths, shopping strip mall, and a convienient store/gas station just a mile before driving up into Red Rock.
We need to keep the ugly traffic out of all that beauty.

Living in Bishop, CA I used to regularly visit Red Rock to hike and climb. It's joy was its wildness, and then you could visit Las Vegas. A great contrast. Please don't combine the two

I love this canyon, I spent the majority of my 6 months in Nevada visiting it and it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

Allowing this large development to encroach on the National Red Rock Conservation area will do a great deal of harm and degradation to its environment and to the quality of experience that currently attracts many thousands of visitors a year. Shame on the State of Nevada and Clark County that allows such a thing, It just gives the appearance of and the stench of more corruption.

We have to stop treating the earth like a wasteland. We already have enough vacant homes in this city. We keep leaving the old to rot and build new to evade it. If Las Vegas were a person, it would be the kind that left their dog for dead because it stopped being a puppy. It's time to focus on revitalizing, not demolishing. The encroachment is already bad enough in the Summerlin, Anthem, and Centennial areas. STOP KILLING THE PLANET, before it kills you.

We LOVE the beauty and peace of Red Rock. We love that it is so close so we can run and bike and hike. We would HATE to have the noise, traffic and ugliness of a housing development right across the street. PLEASE protect one of the only BEAUTIFUL things that Las Vegas has to offer.

Please keep our lands sacred and free from chemicals. There are enough chemicals and no need for greed and more oil and fuel spills to contaminate our crops and water supply.
Generations ago these chemicals weren't an issue and now we have so many more cancers and diseases. Please keep the land free and natural.
