For the last few years I have ventured to the Red Rock Canyon for rock climbing; usually with a group of 7 or so friends. I don't go to visit the strip, the shopping centers or anything else typically associated with the Las Vegas ethos. Ruin the RRC climbing areas and I nor my friends will likely be back.

I climb regularly at red rocks for the scenery and excellent climbing. Developing the land around the park would diminish the scenery and reduce the likelihood that I will visit the park and spend money in Las Vegas. (Seriously I've been to Vegas 8 times and never set foot in a casino, but spend plenty of cash at local businesses and restaurants after I'm done climbing).

Keep development away from the National conservation Area. Wildlife and Las Vegas residents both need a sufficient urban wild land interface for their mutual protection.

Red Rock Canyon is a treasure. The unique location proximal to Las Vegas combined with the feeling of complete wilderness is priceless!!!

The valley is full. But there is room in many places other than spread across this prestine conserved area. Do not scar Red Rock and don't forget it is the gem of this area.

Stop paving and spamming every worth while piece of land with your ugly subdivisions. There are ugly places to put these, not near beautiful land structures
