I come to red rocks every 1-2 years, spending money in hotels and restaurants. This would definitely make me more likely to go somewhere else. Vegas doesn't need more houses - it needs more nature

As a past visitor to red rocks I urge that the area remain non developed. I would be less likely to visit Las Vegas and climb at red rocks if there is a housing development across the street.

I haven't had the chance to visit this area but I hope to go there soon. I hope to be able to bring my children here to view one of America's natural beauties. please don't spoil it with paved parking and cheaply built over priced housing, shopping areas etc.

Building more houses in a region with dwindling water supply hardly seems appropriate stewardship of the land. When it further threatens the beauty and appeal of a major tourism attraction, the concept moves to the absurd. I urge the decision makers to turn down this option. The quick money is never worth it in the long run.

Red Rock NCA is a fragile, precious natural resource that should be protected as such for the enjoyment of all citizens and visitors. With as much space as Las Vegas already covers, this is not the direction in which to allow urban expansion.
