As a tourist visitor to the red rocks my thoughts are that any development would damage a lovely and unique area - the wind blown debris alone would destroy much of the wilderness

I lived in Las Vegas for 5 years, and fell in love with the beauty that was in the Red Rocks conservation area. It is a special, beautiful, pure place in a city that has grown famous for its sin. Those who live there and appreciate that area, know that the sacredicity of Red Rocks needs to be preserved.

Red Rock Canyon is one of the most unique and beautiful conservation area in the United States and must be preserved. This proposed development will negatively impact the area with increased traffic, pollution and degredition to the beauty that is Red Rocks.

It would break my heart to see this land developed. It's bad enough to build housing in the middle of a dessert (extremely unsustainable for the future of our planet), but to also build it on property that should be untouched and kept in it's current condition is very sad. I am an avid hiker and climber of Red Rocks and I urge those involved to deny development of this land. If not for the pure protection of nature, then for future generations that will suffer the consequences.

Commissioners under investigation (Barlow) for fraud and now we have to sign a petition to get them to do their jobs in protecting our interests. What kind of kickbacks are they getting from these developers?
