Living in CA from 1997-2004, we often visited the Las Vegas area and hiking trips in a Red Rock Canyon were the highlight of every visit. Development even 5 miles out of the NCA would be disastrous.

Red rock is paiute ancestral land and sacred to the paiute I as Native American do not like to see land be desecrated because it is sacred land and Nevada can not be like what North Dakota did to to Standing Rock Sioux sacred land and what Arizona did to the Navajo at Oak Flat or Bears Ears in Utah we need to protect our sacred places

Don't we have enough established neighborhoods? Some need fixing up, but nature is disappearing at an alarming rate. Please preserve the red rocks.

I have lived in the Red Rock Canyon overlay district since 2002 and have been a resident of Las Vegas since 1982. Red Rock Canyon will be destroyed by this. I implore Jim Rhodes to do the right thing. I know he is a good man and have witnessed him do some good things over the years but this will utterly destroy this beautiful Canyon that I've called home for nearly two decades. It breaks my heart that this little touch of heaven will be ruined over making money. Money is such a fleeting goal. So sad. This Canyone that took eons to make will become a traffic nightmare and the noise and pollution and chaos created by this man will be undoable. It will be lost forever. Is that really the legacy #JimRhodes really wants to leave? #saveredrockcanyon

Please keep our stunning Red Rock Canyon natural. We have a huge country, there are plenty of areas nearby that can be developed for residences.
