Red Rock is such an amazing refuge outside our somewhat crazy. Traffic has increased so much in the 7 years that I've lived here due to tourism alone. Developers continue to expand in every direction. There are other ways to make money than to overrun and contribute to the destruction of something so special and beautiful in our desert.

Red Rocks is a special place. So close to the city, yet feeling far from it. This development will dramatically change and diminish that feeling of solitude and will irreparably harm the most amazing natural area in all of Nevada. This area is also a major tourist destination and this proposed development will severely affect tourists' attraction to Red Rocks.

Please, we need to have sacred and protected spaces. Housing and development need to stop growing outward and start growing upward instead. For many reasons this is important and all of it has to do with being stewards to the planets, respecting and protecting resources, and natural habitats.

I'm praying this petition stops the building in a national park that holds a lot of sentiment in my heart and I'm sure many others as well.

I just found Red Rock over a year ago. It was the first experience I'd had in the two years since I moved to NV that put me in awe of the local scenery and made me feel like this was a place I could live. Don't destroy that for me and other newcomers.
