Even in Washington we dream of going to Vegas just to go to Red Rock area. This development would forever ruin the experience.

No more development - Redrock Canyon needs to remain rural. We hike and run the area often, it's gorgeous. Whenever we have visitors come to Las Vegas, we are so proud to show them this classic natural beauty.

Red Rock has historically been a place to escape Sin City, with the Strip visible long off in the distance from the top of Bridge Mountain or Mt. Wilson at night, and the pilar of light emanating from the Luxor stretching beyond the stars. An adventurer can just barely make out landmarks such as the Stratosphere and the Linq separated by an expanse of blackness and stars. A few seldom lights exhist in Blue Diamond and Bonnie Springs; however, expansion has been limited by Red Rock's boundary. Let us not forget our mistakes in allowing housing slabs to be build in Calico Basin that Red Rock was forced to expand and absorb. The eyesores are still present within the newly expanded conservation area. Must we further encroach upon this sacred wilderness before we realize its real value? Must D. C. exercise a pen stroke to prevent our endless sabotage of our very own wilderness? That has been the status quo. why not repeat the same mistakes?

Leave us & our grandchildren some Beauty in this concrete madness we live in...Look were greed is getting this country don't let red rock fall into the hands of greed... It's ours as a CPU unity as a country not just a few who want to nane money on it or the few that have the money to take it away from the rest of us
