At a time when the Southwest has limited water for the future and Las Vegas has neighborhoods of devalued, often vacant homes, building more homes in an environmentally sensitive and significant area is a poor, poor decision.

There is enough land to build, don't need to pollute Red Rocks

Lived in Las Vegas for almost a decade, the best part of the valley. Please don't invade it!

As a Las Vegas native of 62 years, I have watched houses slammed on top of every square inch of land in & around this valley. Houses will get old & fall back into the dirt. Red Rock is timeless. We will not let it go. Period. Take your greed some place else.

The area just can't handle that many people. Red Rock is already crowded with tourists. A lot of the climbing and hiking community do our best to pick up litter and re move graffiti, We just want to keep Red Rock clean not get major impact from all user groups.

There are plenty of places besides Red Rock Canyon to do these developments. Keep it like it is.

Red Rock is one of the great places of beauty in the whole of the United States, don't take that away.

I am a Canadian citizen whom has travelled to Nevada 5 times to visit the city of Las Vegas and to rock climb and hike in the Red Rock Conservation Area and vicinity. I believe a decision to develop a unique area will have detrimental consequences, particularly for those that come visit the city, and also seek out beautiful spaces like the conservation area. If this development goes forward, I'm likely not going to revisit, and consequently spend my money elsewhere.

Please work to keep Red Rock the natural wonder it is. I go to Las Vegas only to go to Red Rock. It is the greatest single thing LV has. Don;t let the city over take it and ruin the natural wonder it is.

I am an RN. I have lived in Vegas for for eight years. Red rock mountains are truly one of the best reasons I stay. Love that I can get away from stress in just 15 min. Please keep this beautiful and peaceful. Thank you. Julie Ames
