As a frequent visitor to Red Rocks for climbing and hiking, I hope other areas for development can be found that are less impactful to such a beautiful area that is so close to a major city.

Very unfortunate that we would even consider ruining a natural wonder, and amazing recreational destination. I am sure that the people that flock here every year bring in more dollars than a housing development would.

Although only a visitor I believe this area must be kept free of any type of development.

Please help protect this wild place; it's important environmentally, socially, and economically (less tourism for the area). For example, I've visited las Vegas twice and didn't set foot in a casino-- i came just for red rocks. But I ate in restaurants, shopped in grocery and other stores. Developing red rocks puts this kind of tourism in jeopardy.

One of the best things about Las Vegas is the fact that there is a beautiful and precious canyon within minutes of the city. You can leave the bright lights and urban sprawl behind to unwind. Whether you climb, hike, or just appreciate nature, it is a phenomenal place to get away from the city. Please don't ruin it by allowing a few rich people to get richer. I want my son to be able to enjoy the canyon much as I have been able to enjoy it on countless occasions. My signature on this petition is for him, not me.

Please save the Red Rocks area free from development. I love to visit Las Vegas and this would discourage me from visiting. Thank you.

I travel to LV to rock climb. I stay in hotels and eat in restaurants. I appreciate Red Rocks proximity to the airport while feeling like the wilderness.

I enjoy the park, climbing, and the nature of activities it promotes.
