Keep Red Rock Rural

Red Rock Canyon is the reason I, my family, and a large number of friends visit Las Vegas. While there we stay in Vegas hotels and eat at Vegas restaurants. Destroying the pristine nature of this area with the kind of excessive overdevelopment currently proposed will send all of us somewhere else.

We visit Las Vegas regularly and recreate in the Red Rock area. You are going to lose a lot of revenue with the outdoor people if you keep developing land that should remain wild.

Save Red Rock

Greed is a threat that may destroy us in my lifetime.

Vegas is big enough.

Red Rocks bring valuable recreation dollars to your County. It's great that it's convenient, but also markedly apart from the city. Bringing development into the Red Rock ring--just inside the sweeping bend--will lesson the allure of Red Rocks, and destroy a local and national treasure's solitude, and a place of respite for locals.

Please support the protection of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

I was just at Red Rock a month ago and was blown away by the beauty and isolation that you can wander in so close to a human monstrosity of Las Vegas - there is other land to build on - please save this wonder of land for our children and grandchildren, and more generations than that!!!!!

Please do not building the housing project proposed that has the potential to destroy Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Keep this and other pristine natural spaces safe and protected from development. We only have so many natural spaces left and need to protect them at all cost.

I am a dual citizen of the US and Canada. I have been to Vegas, and hiked the Red Rock canyons. I cannot imagine a place that needs to be preserved more than this. I lived in the greater Phoenix area for over fie years. The desert is not suitable for an ever-expanding metropolis. We have to draw the line before there's nothing left…and not enough resources to sustain what developers are trying to create.

Keep it natural!

I have visited and photographed Red Rock Canyon and Park area many times over the past 20 years. It is one of the main reasons I come back to Las Vegas for vacation. Please keep this gem the way it is!!

I last visited the Red Rock area in 2015, and planned on going out there again in 2018. I travel to the area for the beauty. Please do not destroy this wonderful beautiful area.

Red Rock has been my escape from Las Vegas on every one of my trips to the area. I have used it to hike, trail run, and climb. It is truly magical to have such a resource so close to the fast growing Las Vegas metropolis, and it is a major tourist attraction. As a CEO and a General Manager I have several times brought colleagues to Las Vegas for meetings and conferences, and we took advantage of Red Rock to get out of the city for team building activities. With this added development, I would likely consider other destinations.

I travel here a couple times per year. The place is special. Let's work to keep it that way for future generations

I have been fortunate enough to climb in red rocks canyons numerous times over the years and firmly believe that development adjacent to the area will severely impact The environment and the park itself.

This sacred land is gift from eons ago. We must do our part to preserve it for generations to come

Please please keep it rural! No building around Red Rock Canyon!!!!!
