Keep Red Rocks beautiful!

Red Rocks is a priceless desert treasure whose unique ecology and recreation opportunities would be destroyed by this proposed housing development right next door. Human occupation on that scale inevitably and inarguably leaves an impact on a far greater area than simply the footprint of the housing development. This must not happen to this iconic location.

Do not ruin what little natural land we have left.

Keep Climbing

Heavy development in this area would be an immediate environmental and social disaster. Additionally, it is not in line with the ethos of parks. This situation calls to mind The Milagro Beanfield War, a book by John Nichols about what happens when money feels entitled to walk on the faces the people. I can only salute you with a particular finger, and remind you that people will not lie down when what they love is being threatened by a bully. Please go develop somewhere more appropriate.

Please stop encroaching development near Red Rocks. I have come to this unique area to climb for the past 26 years, including a trip last winter with my children ages 5 and 2. I hope they too will one day share this one of a kind place with there children someday. Thank you!

Keep Red Rock Canyon pristine!

I have been visiting Red Rocks for the past 30 years climbing and hiking. Please do not develop this wonderful Conservation Area and preserve it for future generations. Thank you, Chuck

Climbed a few times, it's a great place and an area that needs to be preserved.

I travel to Las Vegas, stay in hotels, rent cars, and go out to dine because I'm traveling to the area to visit the beautiful Red Rock Canyon. Without the natural beauty of this area it is unlikely that I would visit Las Vegas.

I've visited Red Rock canyon many times. It is a national treasure. Please protect it.

Please don't let this beautiful land be spoiled by housing development!

I lived in Las Vegas for 31 years. I spent much of my time hiking and climbing in Red Rock. It was a refuge from the city. I continue to visit it now. Please do not allow it to be destroyed.

Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is my favorite thing about Las Vegas, please preserve it and the surrounding area!

Save this beautiful place.

I've lived here my whole life. Red Rock does not need housing! Stop with the nonsense, there are thousands of unoccupied houses in Vegas already, we don't need anyone ruining something beautiful like that over greed.

Don't build over our precious Red Rock People from all over come here to just visit this beautiful place

Please don't allow this. Red rock is an incredibly special place that will be indelibly marked if this is allowed. It is a space that is cherished by thousands across the world.

Red rocks is known and loved world wide. For me and many others it's the main attraction to Las Vegas. Please protect it
