Red Rocks is about the only reason we ever go to Vegas. Everything cannot and should not be like the strip! Stop this I'll considered craziness.

I travel here every year for an annual rock climbing pilgrimage. I stay in local hotels, eat food out at local restaurants and, most importantly, enjoy the splendor of an amazing, protected natural space right next to a major metro area. This is SUCH a unique part of Las Vegas. Please do not put short term profits ahead of a long term vision of conservation and recreation.

We should not be quick to sacrifice our wilderness and recreational areas for another shopping center and 'suburban community'. The long term value an area like this can provide in recreation and tourism outweighs the short term gains a sell off can provide.

This proposed building will damage the surrounding area. Not matter how much the developers will say otherwise, it will ruin Red Rock forever.

The only reason I would travel to Las Vegas would be to see and climb in an undisturbed Red Rock Canyon.

I only ever go to Nevada/Vegas to climb outdoors. I know they don't need my tourism dollars, but without desert sandstone you won't get any from me.

High density residential has no place adjacent to Red Rock. Please consider community development in a sustainable and appropriate way. High density residential is necessary but inappropriate adjacent to protected lands. The visual impact would be astronomical. The cumulative negative impacts to traffic, noise, visual resources, recreation, sensitive species, and air quality far outweigh the economic benefits to the land owner.
