Save Red Rock Canyon! It's the only good thing about Las Vegas.

We need to keep this area rural and undeveloped.

DO NOT DESTROY THE BEAUTY.

I am a real estate development consultant and a staunch lover of Red Rock as it is. Development has already crept to its door and that is far enough for all of us. My wife and I fell deeply in love with each other and Red Rock over 15 years ago when we took our first couple vacation to climb in the park. It is possibly my favorite place on earth and draws us back to Vegas nearly every year. There is nothing like it and it needs to be preserved and shared with everyone. Thank you for doing the right thing so others can fall in love with the rocks, the city and each other. Michael

Leave red rock and surrounding areas alone. Vegas is big enough! Stop the encroachment.

Keep it as is!!!

I have been the Red Rock many times and always cherish it. I spend money locally and I do not come for Vegas and gambling. This development will not only irrevocably damage Red Rocks but also hurt the tourist economy by damaging the natural beauty that draws us there.

Keep Red Rock Rural for All!

I visit Red Rock Canyon yearly. It is the highlight of every trip. Please leave it in pristine, undeveloped condition. A housing development will ruin it.

Our natural areas are precious and need to be protected for future generations.

Red Rocks is am important natural reserve whose beauty and solitude should be shared by our generation and generations to come. Developing near this landmark will take its beauty and solitude away, cause traffic and pollution, and take away the opportunity for future generations to truly enjoy this unique area within the state of Nevada.

enough development...vegas has enough housing and more than enough retail. This is just excess...which infringes on a natural resource that is irreplaceable .

I visit Red Rock to climb away my rainy weather blues. Oregon is lovely, but Red Rock offers an escape to warmer weather, unique rock and an opportunity to spend money in Vegas with friends. Don't take this wonderful crag, this incredibly beautiful and naturally occurring marvel of geology away from the public. We all want to appreciate it's beauty. And we are more than 14,000 !

I have done some day hiking in Red Rocks, and it is a gorgeous and peaceful place that should be preserved for others to also enjoy.

Every time I return to Red Rocks, I find the urban sprawl moving closer and closer to this beautiful national park. We must draw a line here and stop further development!

Preserving the natural beauty of the landscape and the secluded nature of the Red Rock Canyon National conservation area is important not just for environmental reasons, but the tourism that this area promotes.

No need to develop so close to Red Rock Canyon, what is with these developers anyway?

Please save this rare treasure.

Las Vegas enjoys revenue from visitors to Red Rock. Development in the canyon will diminish that.
