I believe it is vitally important to protect the Red Rock Canyon area and the vicinity around it from non-rural development. Preservation is necessary.

Please do not ruin what little natural beauty that still exists in that valley!! I grew up less than 5 miles from Red Rock and Calico Basin, we could go there for free and enjoy the beauty of nature. Humans do not need to claim everything!

Please do not rezone land around Red Rock Canyon for development. Las Vegas and the greater area should not further encroach upon this important desert environment.
I am not a Nevada resident, but I have taken advantage of this part of America's backyard. I've camped, hiked, and climbed in Red Rock Canyon. Please keep it and the surrounding areas protected.
