The landscapes, natural habitats and recreational opportunities of Red Rocks are unique and inspiring. There is nothing unique nor inspiring about more housing, shopping and commercial development.

RR is a refuge, stunning, amazing areas for hikers, climbers, and wildlife lookers alive. Please do not destroy this area with more development. This is particularly curious given the number of empty homes in the LV area.

delete National Parks are conserved for a reason, to ensure the natural environment and vital ecosystems are preserved in the face of urban and suburban development. We cannot allow development, such as this, in our National Parks. Red Rock being one of the only preserved ecosystems in the greater Nevadan Southwest Frontier. Please don't allow this disrespectful and blatantly ignorant construction to take place. Keep Red Rock Canyon Protected. We can't allow money to buy off preserved national treasures such as this. To redefine a great quote by the late Harry S. Truman, "The Buck Stops Here." Let's not allow money to buy off what is priceless, nor let us pass this responsibility to those who would not uphold the values of our great conservation efforts. Let's end the schadenfreude of corrupt businesses trying to develop on national preserves. Thank you for your time and understanding.

I have travelled to Las Vegas five times in the last seven years for the primary purpose of climbing in Red Rock. I am deeply concerned by the proposed development. It would materially detract from the character of Red Rock. Were the development to proceed, I would prefer other more pristine destinations to Red Rock.

We travel 10hrs twice a year to climb in Red Rock. We stay in Clark County hotels, dine in clark county restaurants and support local businesses while we are there. If more sprawl and development encroach further on the canyons we'll take our spending elsewhere.

It is important to preserve the natural landscape for future generations. Once land like this is developed, the damage can't be undone.
