Please stop the destruction of beautiful lands that people near and far enjoy as a retreat. Weove nature as it is and need to see the stop of further developments on these lands.

Please preserve the wonderful character of Red Rocks! My wife and I usually visit once or twice a year because we enjoy the desert surroundings and even solitude despite the proximity to the city. I love looking out from the sandstone walls and seeing sprawling desert — not a sparkling, bustling, noisy, smelly, traffic-clogged suburb. I can't imagine how the development would not change the experience in a noticeable way. Thank you.

I love climbing here in this beautiful place, and would hate to see the impact of development on its borders. There are many other places outside of Las Vegas that would not threaten such a beloved recreation area to develop and expand housing and commercial space - please keep Red Rock Canyon protected!

We, Sheree and I spend 2-3 months every year climbing and biking in Red Rock. High density housing would ruin the wonderful views in the canyons. We talk to visitors from around the world who marvel that this scenic beauty has been preserved so close to Las Vegas. Don't spoil one of LV's major tourist attractions. Any housing should be out of view of Red Rock Canyon.

We have made an annual trip to visit red rocks for the past 6 years. If this gets developed what's next, on the BLM land list.

I've been coming to Red Rock as a visitor every year for the last 12 years or so. It is a truly special and unique environment. I plan to continue to visit for the foreseeable future. I've seen the slow encroachment of housing and development on the Conservation Area over the years, and this is troublesome. This needs to stop. Red Rock is a small gem in a growing sea of development. Please protect this land for all future generations to enjoy. The value of such an attraction, especially to a tourist destination like Las Vegas, should not be underestimated. Continued development threatens the sanctity of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
