Humanity needs to learn balance. We don't need to take over every piece of land. One day, there will be no more land to take over and the beauty that made us seek the land will be gone because of it being abused by a human populace. Respect nature by leaving some of it alone, let it reward us by the beauty and animal habitats being able to continue to thrive throughout our reign. Live in harmony with nature, stop trying to own it and control it.

Being born and growing up in this city has always made me love leaving and visiting various remote nature camp grounds in California, Oregon and Washington but the red rock canyons are the only thing we have close to it nature wise and it would be selfish and greedy to build on it instead of using the money for something else like our low class neighborhoods that need help or the rising heroine epidemic plaguing out communities ANYTHING ELSE but red rock please.

Too often the "line in the sand" for development has been crossed at Red Rock. First it was no development past the by-pass, then it was at the wash and the drainage basin, and now it is on the mt. Stop the development! No more!

We're better as a society for the places we choose to protect. Destruction is easy; conservation is hard in the face of profit, but humans need the natural world - not another urban wasteland. Keep Red Rocks wild!
