This would be tragic, I have traveled throughout the world and still routinely visit, climb and hike in red rocks.

If the land began as BLM property and the mine has played out, then the land should be returned to the people or given the option for a discounted price- similar to rails-to-trails. If he received a claim for the mine, then the claim should only be for the minerals that were extracted. Return the land to the people and build the homes somewhere else in the valley.

Please leave Red Rock Canyon alone. It's one of the only conservation areas readily available to people living in the Las Vegas area. Don't ruin it with a freaking housing development.

no building of any kind in red rock. This land is part of our local culture. We have enough homes and plenty of other spaces to build. Leave red rock alone!!
