Red Rock is not only enjoyed by us locals, but by tourists as well. There are plenty of other spaces developers can plop more housing developments. Please do not ruin one of the few outdoor gems this area has to offer.

I am a realtor, so you think I would be for the expansion of real estate in Las Vegas but this proposal I just cannot support. Red Rock is something we as residents must preserve, respect and protect so future generations can enjoy it's unique beauty. There are many other options in the valley to build.

Red Rock Canyon is 1 of the very few places nearby where I can take my children to learn about wildlife and show them that their is beauty to be found even in the middle of the desert. It is our favorite place to go to get away from the city and enjoy some peace and quiet

We are so impressed by this protected area. We were told by family to visit/hike when we were in the area. We will encourage others. We must protect. Give the landowner another piece of land!!! Not this one.

This wild place is a gem for the nation, and additional development will scar the land for generations. Don't let that happen and keep Red Rocks Canyon preserved: tourists, families and the outdoor industry all who travel from all over the world and nation to visit this place for will thank you for it.

We need to save this beautiful canyon and all the land around it. Enough with the home builders moving into our beautiful landmarks and our peaceful places left to get away from the city. ...

Escaping to red rocks is the only reason my family ever goes to Las Vegas. Please keep it as close to wilderness as possible. No new developments please

We already have thousands of empty houses (new and used) in the area that there's no need for more houses encroaching on a protected place of nature in the valley. Red Rock Canyon is not only a locals safe haven to explore nature but a peaceful habitat for native plants and animals to survive without humans destroying their living environment. Additionally, Red Rock Canyon is a huge destination for environmentalists: hikers, rock climbers, mountain bikers, etc. Rezoning this area would be a travesty for locals, the environment, flora and fauna, animals, and tourists.

It is imperative that we protect the land around parks from development. Please don't rezone.

We do not need another city around a place people enjoy as it is. Preserve these natural heavens for the upcoming generations so they can witness what we love.
