Please don't ruin Red Rock with dumb development. Leave one wild place near Las Vegas.

This is a beautiful wild area on the outskirts of a massive sprawling city. Please don't let more sprawl impact this amazing place. Thank you!!!

I have visited the canyon just once and it's an amazing place that Las Vegas is so fortunate to have.

This is a national treasure, a place of accessible beauty, solitude and adventure.

I know friends who live in the Red Rock area and my husband visits there to mountain bike and Rick climb at least once a year. Preserve the natural beauty. Every bit of untouched Earth does not need to be a development opportunity. What will we be leaving for our children and future generations?

I am horrified to read that Red Rock has the potential for commercial development. This is a national gem that provides unending recreation and relief for locals from the strip, and is a prime destination for climbers and recreationalists from around the globe.

Red rocks kept me out of trouble when living in Las Vegas.
