As an avid outdoor enthusiast and traditional rock climber, it saddens me that we are slowly losing our wilderness to greed. Please keep Red Rocks Canyon a national preserve as originally intended and put your wallets away for once.

This area, in its current open, rural and undeveloped form is one of the jewels of Las Vegas. The ability to move quickly from the Strip to this natural place is unique and an experience many visitor enjoy. Residential or commercial development would erode this special character.

Please let some of God's country stay God's country for the sake of our children. Everything should NOT be about money. Developers are looking at money. I am looking at the faces of human beings who want to enjoy a pristine creation.

I visited Red Rocks for the first time in 1999. I have been back multiple times for climbing , and have been sorely disappointed to see how urban sprawl has affected the area around Red Rocks. Please don't ruin this area by building, building, building. Please conserve this beautiful area.

I may not live here, but I visit! If you surround Red Rocks with housing it will be way less attractive for tourism!

I'm not interested in gambling, but I've flown into Vegas and rented a hotel specifically to climb at Red Rocks. It's a beautiful, amazing place, and it's also a source of tourist revenue. Please keep it beautiful.

Do not spoil the beauty of Red Rock with a commercial development. Rhodes is not the most scrupulous developer and Red Rock Canyon should be protected.

Please listen to the people, and not the developers, and don't re-zone the Blue Diamond Mesa near Red Rock. The "wilderness" aspect of this area is a huge factor of what makes Red Rock so precious and magical.

Keep Red Rock Rural we do not need a bunch of houses out there nor do we need all the cars and people. This is a beautiful area and adding a population will put a serious burden on the enviornment and the animals and insects that call this area home.
