The rural nature of Red Rock is extremely important to maintain. It is the primary respite for everybody who needs a temporary escape from everything else Las Vegas has become. I've visited many, many times, but should its rural nature be compromised, I see no reason for me, or my family and friends, to visit Clark County again. I hope Clark County recognizes that the strip is not Clark County's only big attraction. Thanks!

How long will it take people to realize that jamming people together has created the insanity that exist? Without outdoor refuges, there is no place to recharge.

Ive been going to red rock canyon long before this valley was ever develop and its been perfect for over 50 million tears and now we are going to let developer build their cheap homes all over the land, doesn't make sense. Leave it the way it is, its not ours to do with as we please it belongs to those that have yet to experience its beauty.

This beautiful piece of quiet, serene desert is so important to the local nature lovers!!! The animal, earth and people would be so devistated if we loose this untouched land!! WE DON'T NEED TO EXPAND, WE NEED TO LEAVE MOTHER EARTH AS SHE IS! PLEASE!

Done a lot of climbing there and the beauty and serenity would be in jeopardy with all the increase in traffic.Its a remote area so close to Las Vegas and should be left that way.

Time spent in red rocks changed my life. To think that my children will have to visit those canyons cliffs and trails overlooking subdivisions, commercial and industrial development makes us cringe. Let recreation areas be recreation areas. That's what zoning is for: to keep obvious development projects from stepping on each other's collective toes. Make the commen sense decision. Development in the red rocks area should be treated like any other area linked to park or recreation area. Once it is impacted it's gone. Would you really like to hike or climb to the top of those cliffs and look down on roofs and pavement?

There is PLENTY of land for residential expansion on the northeast, northwest AND south sides of the Las Vegas valley! Do not destroy the sights and sounds of Red Rock!! It is too precious to lose!!

Please do not allow development in this area. The recreational value is high and one of the major draws to Clark county in eco tourism.
