One of the reasons I take pride in living in Las Vegas is the fact that this beautiful land exists and is MAINTAINED. If we open the floodgates to building, there is no telling where it will stop. There are enough negative stigmas attached to Las Vegas and raising families here. Let's not add greed and overaggressive building on rural land to the list. KEEP RED ROCK RURAL. IT IS ONE OF THE BEST PARTS OF OUR TOWN AND NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED FOREVER.

We're doing our damnedest as a nation to destroy every bit of beauty and nature we have on this planet. Please keep Red Rock from becoming another casualty to money-hungry developers.

I was a resident of Las Vegas for 18 years and left after the crush of often thoughtless development transmogrified the natural beauty of the valley. The remaining near urban scenic and wild recreational outpost that is the RRNRA should not be sullied with further development--that at the end of Charleston is already intrusive to this fragile domain. Denizens of Clark County and the state should do all that is possible to prevent any further development or intrusion into this beautiful area. Esteemed Commissioners: Do what is right.:

There's no reason for any developing in areas like this. There are plenty of already developed areas that these companies could put money into revitalizing.
