I visit Red Rock frequently for climbing. I value it greatly for its peace and beauty. If the area underwent serious development, I would likely stop visiting. I suspect I'm not alone in this.

There is so much land that building that close to a national park is unnecessary.

My son, Hans Sachs, a rock climber, lives in the area and recreates at Red Rocks with very little impact; and I agree we need to preserve it from non-rural development.

Red rock area is a miraculous beautiful magical place that needs to stay untouched and available for all future generations to enjoy. There is so much healing that happens there for folks through recreation, sightseeing, and just having the majestic space to clear their minds and obtain solace and grounding. I am so tired of developers trying to encroach on this space for the almighty dollar. Bottom line.....its always about the almighty dollar for these people. So sad.

Please shut down new housing development. You are going to kill a beautiful place and make it like the strip. What next, a casino out there?

This is a bad idea. It has been an ongoing issue for years. We need to kill it once and for all.
