The proposed development does not fit into the area.

This is important. Preserve Red Rock for the future, for our children and their children. Red Rock improves quality of life, we can build buildings elsewhere.

I am against the proposed development of Red Rock on many grounds. It would e disgusting to se the proposal approved.

There are plenty of areas to build around Vegas so as to not encroach upon the desert further. Like 'up' instead of out. Besides there are enough vacant houses in the city as is!!

I lived in Vegas for 5 years and Red Rocks is a beautiful natural landscape that should not be touched.

Mountains Edge and other communities in the area all oppose this development - as does Red Rock Canyon volunteers, Spring Mountain Ranch, and all other areas. Clark County should respect the opinions of the Planning Commission and the majority of people in the area who do NOT want this development.

Why is this even being discussed? Leave Red Rock alone!

Are you serious!? Vegas has been known for corruption but this is rediculous. I'd like to see a new petition to sweep city council out of office. Protect Red Rock!!!!

Keep red rock RURAL. There is no reason to pursue development further into this area.

Red Rock Canyon should be left alone so that future generations can also enjoy it's beauty just as you see it today.

Keep a beautiful area beautiful. Once you destroy it with homes, there's no going back. Your future will hate you.

Nature should be enjoyed just as God created it to be...find other land...this land is for the quiet hikes that I need to get away from the chaos in the rest of the city!!

Part of the beauty of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is that you can get a remote feeling not far from Las Vegas. I have travel to Las Vegas twice in the last couple years with the specific purpose of climbing and hiking in Red Rock canyon (I have another trip planned for this January). I think it would be a great disservice to Clark County and the residence of the area to allow the surrounding areas be rezoned for high density development. Wild and undeveloped spaces in the US need to be preserved for the future enjoyment of the people.
