Love this beautiful area for climbing and hiking! A wonderful place to escape from busy developed areas nearby. Development would seriously degrade the areas appeal for me and possibly keep me from visiting the area.

Where is the water going to come from? This eco system does not have the resources to support 5,000 homes. really!!! The Red Rock area is delicate.

Red Rock Canyon is a natural resource for the public to enjoy. Shame on Clark County to try with a lawsuit to circumvent environmental opposition & narrow-mindedly push through development that only lines the pockets of one company or person.

Buying the land and then trying to push through the zoning is wrong. Not following the guidance of the planning board is irresponsible. Further, the proposal does not meet other issues related to not improving the infrastructure to support such a development. Furthermore, what part of National Conservation Area does the County not understand?

This is a serious encroachment onto protected lands which will severely detriment not only the ambience and rugged feel of the park but the local wildlife as well, not to mention the physical and noise pollution it will create. Please do not allow this to happen.

I lived in Las Vegas for 20 years and now I visit multiple times a year. Red Rock Canyon, in my opinion is the best part of the Las Vegas Valley. I have seen development reach as far as it is today and it would be sickening if the land was developed past the foothills/gypsum mine and into the Red Rock Valley. Please don't develop the Red Rock Valley, I bet there are plenty of empty houses still available from the last recession Vegas had.
