Life long resident, and have escaped to Red Rock Canyon all my life for the solitude and beauty... I strongly support keeping Red Rock a rural area .

I have been enjoying Red Rock and Calico Canyon since the 80s, every time I would come to Las Vegas to visit my grandparents. It is truly a gem and needs to be preserved. I've watched the sprawl encroaching year after year, making its way toward the canyons. Please don't let it consume this sacred spot!

Red rock is a special place and needs to be protected. Ruining the beautiful views and rugged feel of red rock with a housing development is wrong and could potentially hurt tourism in the park

Red Rock is one of the few reasons I find to visit the Las Vegas area. Please preserve it in its natural state without nearby land grabs by developers just out to make a buck and screw the public.

When I came to Vegas in April for T Mobile Killers show the day of the show I took locals advice and visited Red Rock. 2nd best time I had was sitting alone with my thoughts and humbled by Gods Architecture. Do you really want to mess with His perfect artwork? Keep this place safe for the next lost soul to find itself!!!
