Red Rocks is the best thing Vegas has to offer. This place holds a special place in my heart. My wife and I have been climbing here for about 15 years. Please don't ruin one of the most iconic climbing areas in the southwest.

To overpopulat red rock would be a travesty. It's a natural wonders rich in geological history! There are fossils of fish and sea shells, it's home to nature so diverse from anywhere else in the valley. To develop this land will ruin Red rock in so many ways, traffic alone will pollute, overcrowd. How can Rhodes be so money hungry as to not considered these ramifications. Please keep Red Rock safe from desecration!

I travel to Las Vegas every year for the past 8 yes, and go out to Red Rocks to enjoy its unique atmosphere and beauty. Keeping it natural and undeveloped is critical to maintaining the tourism.

This development is detrimental to the preservation of one of the world's true natural treasures. It would truly be a moral crime to destroy something so utterly beautiful to fill the land with more shopping malls and fast food joints.

I've been living in LV for 26 years and have been going to Red Rock for about 20 of those years. Please allow us to escape the bustling tourist sections of Vegas with pristine rural beauty like the Canyon exactly as it is.

As a resident of Washington, DC, the only reason I travel to Las Vegas and spend my leisure dollars and time in Las Vegas and the surrounding area is because of the natural beauty of Red Rock. Building a subdivision so close to a world class natural recreation area will deter me from traveling there and investing in your community in the future. I strongly urge you to maintain the natural character of the area surrounding Red Rock.

We must do all possible to preserve natural areas for future generations. There are other places to build homes. Once a natural area is encroached upon the damage cannot be undone. We must save our planet by keeping natural areas intact.
