Perhaps the developers should at the interior of Las Vegas and work on improving the city before destroying the beauty of nature.

There are plenty of areas to build homes in the Las Vegas Valley, but very few places in which Las Vegas residents can escape to for outdoor recreation. Developing Red Rock would be a travesty. Building homes here will lead to more depression and hurt our community overall.

In a time where the nominee for the EPA is a person who denies climate change and the government is for the revitalization of coal we must fight even more to keep our precious undeveloped natural land untouched. Red Rock Canyon is a national treasure that needs to be preserved for the responsible use of current outdoor enthusiasts and generations to come. It offers a place for enjoyment, leisure, exercise, and education; all of which are invaluable gifts we receive from this beautiful landscape.

We must protect areas of natural beauty from development. A community that size will harm rhe natural environment and encroach on wildlife habitation.
