Why would you want to build houses in conservation area?

Here we go again - do we even have the water to sustain all this growth, and do we ever learn from the past regarding over-growth! A prime example is Summerlin Center, just east of Red Rock. First we have Red Rock Resort, then Downtown Summerlin, plans for our new NHL hockey team's practice facility, potential relocation of the Las Vegas 51s baseball stadium to Summerlin Center, and continued housing unit density. In the meantime, the main arteries surrounding Summerlin Center are getting more and more congested, including a very dangerous merge off the 215 beltway north onto Charleston Blvd. (waiting for a horrific accident to happen before they do something about it). Did anyone think ahead and calculate how much traffic volume these developments would bring to the area? Poor planning already, and Summerlin Center is nowhere near buildout! Starting to resemble every intersection in Southern California - runaway growth to feed the tax coffers.

I have visited here throughout my whole life. The nature and animal life you will destroy makes it more than unreasonable to be developing any houses on this beautiful site.

Besides the fact that it's one of our most beautiful lands and will destroy the homes of the animals living there, said I thought we had a water shortage and were in a drought.

Red rock canyon is an amazingly unique natural wonder that should be kept that way for our children's children's children

Keep Red Rock!

I am from this area and Redrock has been a very big part of my families great times and memories. Please do not commercialize it.

Please keep Red Rock rural. Please listen to the people and not the men with the money and influence. Thank you.

One of our great treasures. We must keep it safe.

I love taking my son hiking out there. That area doesn't need another manufactured neighborhood/shopping district.

Red Rock should be preserved.

Why? So only a few entitled souls can enjoy the beauty of Red Rock?

Please stop building any closer to Red Rock Canyon.

Save Red Rock as rural, beautiful for future visitors!
