Las Vegas is unique among growing metropolitan areas in that it has a piece of nature of this magnitude sitting minutes from the edge of the city, but separated by a small chain of mountains to ensure it feels remote. By developing any close to Red Rock, including on top of this hill, the serenity of Red Rock will be destroyed by additional light pollution, noise, traffic, vandalism, etc. The Red Rock NCA does not have the resources to keep this land clean, safe and free of mischief as it stands and certainly not if the city encroaches on the borders any further. Please help keep Red Rock a peaceful reprieve from the city life. Once this is lost, there is no going back.

I grew up in Las Vegas Nevada and spent most of my time going to red rock and Bonnie springs ranch almost every weekend. Leave it alone!

Many people that don't come here to gamble come to enjoy Red Rock Canyon. There is other places to build. Tired of the greed to line their pockets at everyone else's expense

NO! I thought RR was already protected. There's plenty other areas to build up. Leave this beautiful land alone

We visit red rock canyon every chance we get! It's truly a magical place and it would be a shame to lose it for future generations.

Just because we CAN do something does not mean that we SHOULD. I don't need to list all the reasons the area near Red Rock Canyon should be preserved; you already know.

Stop letting these money hungry builders rape our wonderful rural areas. This has become a joke with people that have lived here for a time. Stop the destruction of our natural resources. Stop taking payoffs. And don't even try to deny it. You people need to have your heads examined.

Please don't allow any more housing in the conservation area. I cannot believe we are STILL fighting against this.
