We need to protect Red Rock area from development for our children and grandchildren. I urge our leaders to step up and do the right thing for Mother Nature and preserve this pristine area. Please rescind any permits both past, present and future that would allow this area to support housing and development. Thank you for your time, Carol Shimer (39 year resident within the Las Vegas valley).

Not only is our lake drying up but so are our outdoor activity choices. There definitely is not enough water to support what is being proposed. What are they thinking? just keep building until there is no more open land? Part of our tourism is people wanting to go off the strip and see our beautiful desert and what it has to offer. we need wide open spaces and not house upon houses upon houses.

We need nature and beautiful hiking trails to keep tourists coming to Vegas! Please don't fill these lands with concrete, it will only cause more annual flooding through urbanization!

The proposed housing across from Red Rock is too intrusive. The town is growing too fast and too much temptation money. Red Rock is one of the places that makes Las Vegas special and "Nevada". Please preserve it as a beautiful rural area. Once the landscape is over developed --it is too late. A few people make lots of money but the rest of us lose a special treasure.
