Native Nevadan here. Hate to see development in this area. Plus, where is the water going to come from?

I was raised in Vegas and genuinely enjoy visiting Red Rock. It would be sad to see such a beautiful place destroyed.

When I lived there this was my favorite place for a quick get a way from work. I loved the pristine beauty of the place and hiked there many times. It is God's place. LEAVE IT ALONE.

Vegas is already too big. We have far too many homes vacant and destroyed by squatters. There is very little beauty in this bowl we live in. The wildlife is losing their natural habitats to corporate greed. Not all tourists come for the gambling and locals enjoy hiking in Red Rock. Leave Red Rock alone.

I travel to Las Vegas every year, partly to visit, climb, and explore Red Rock. It's a natural treasure and should be kept as such. There are plenty of other places to build houses.

People come from all over the world to see this amazing landscape that is so unique and different from anything else in the world! It would be a shame to ruin that by encroaching it with more residential areas.
