Red Rock's beauty and natural state can only be preserved by space provided for all to enjoy. I urge you to reconsider developing elsewhere. My tourism to Nevada state almost solely comes from my visits to climb in Red Rock first, then enjoy the rest of the state after.

Red Rocks is a rare gem in Clark County, being both so close to a major metropolis and so (relatively) unspoilt a natural environment. Allowing the development of 1000s of houses so close to this resource will irreversibly change it for the worse, and should therefore be disallowed.

The idea of building housing developments with their light pollution and countless other disturbances this close to a National Conservation Area is ludicrous!!!
Where else in the USA would they even consider this nonsense proposal???
We live in a city and state with 100,000's of acres of dirt. Plain old, sandy, dirt.
Build the damn project somewhere else!!!
Why mess up the best thing Southern Nevada has going for it???

This happen a couple of years ago! The threat of an mega apartment complex on now BLM property that allowed the offensive developer to trade up, garnering a huge windfall in the trade. I signed the Blue Diamond petition helping stop jim rhoades and his BLM cronies.
