How dare these greedy developers try to ruin what is left of the Meadows. Our land is sacred. Their money is not.

Preserve the Red Rock Overlay District. Red Rock is for all of us, don't change it to pad the wallets of a few wealthy individuals.

It’s time for the overbuilding nonsense to stop. We need to preserve what natural beauty is left, which includes the wildlife and plants native to our awesome desert!!

It’s hard to believe we’re even talking about communities in red rock when there’s no water for this type of building. Personally, I think it’s disgusting.

Please keep Red Rock rural, and most importantly, a PROTECTED Nature Preserve!! This city can sprawl in other directions, as it already is. There is still much vacant land, and areas that aren't nature preserves such as this. Please leave this sacred land as it is for us to enjoy. It's already too bad that housing has extended as far as it has, impacting the overall landscape. Otherwise, we'll need to go to Utah to have undisturbed nature? Come on ...

Is anything sacred in this city? There is already a bunch of graffiti up at Red Rock Canyon!!! It’s such a small area… why can we preserve it instead of selling it out to the highest bidder!?

Dear Commissioner Justin Jones,
We write to you as the commissioner with the power to protect Red Rock Canyon during the revamping of the Clark County zoning code.
We plead with you to PRESERVE THE RED ROCK DESIGN OVERLAY DISTRICT.
As you are well aware, Red Rock Canyon is one of the most vulnerable national conservation areas in the country, and it is a national treasure.
The future of Red Rock Canyon is in your hands. The Red Rock Design Overlay District is the only thing left to protect the rural nature of the canyon. Your actions on this overlay right now will determine the face of Red Rock Canyon forever, and your legacy will impact visitors from around the world.
As a part of the Title 30 rewrite process and your commitment to your constituents, please protect the Red Rock Design Overlay District and its core elements which were instituted in 2003 and have been effectively safeguarding Red Rock for over 20 years. Maintaining the rural integrity of the geographic area in and around Red Rock Canyon is crucial to the conservation and preservation of the rural experience.
Please Keep Red Rock Rural!
If Red Rock isn’t worth protecting, what is? We are counting on you at this critical time to preserve the only remaining rural protections for Red Rock Canyon.

Please do not waste time of developing this area. There are invaluable reasons to not develop here. Don’t take the easy way out.
