Red Rock is the best hiking and rock climbing adventure area close to a sizeable city in this country, please don't ruin the views and the experience by building houses out there. Enough, build along I-15, if we need more houses.

We do not need more homes, people, cars, smog, congestion, crime and mayhem that putting more homes here in the west part of the valley will cause!

Why do they have to build in Red Rock? There are so many other areas. How about out towards Sloan? Most people that are coming here are used to commuting and why are they spending so much on freeway and road improvements if that wasn't the case? I have been in Las Vegas for most of my 50 years and am appalled that our city or county would even consider letting developers ruin such pristine beauty not to mention the many joys that it brings to people that visit it. It would be akin to people defacing the ancient rock drawings in the Valley of Fire. Seriously, maybe it's time to make Indian Springs, Sloan, or other nearby towns suburbs of Vegas. These developers could create their own towns or maybe bring life to these areas.

No building! Keep clean, keep free if residential housing. There is plenty of under-developed or undeveloped land in the valley. Nature>Greed!

This unique treasure needs to be protected. Clark County should purchase the land sought to be developed and maintain it as open space.
