Please keep this climbing and hiking area natural! Having no cell service is something beautiful!

As a native from Las Vegas Nevada, I find it horrifying to build so close to nature. I waa saddened when they built Red Rock Casino and the many homes right in front of Red Rock! Please leave our Red Rock alone. It's a place to get away from the hustle and bustle.

I love red rock. It has been a way to escape the noise and clutter of las vegas. It is a vital part to living a balanced life in las vegas. Please keep it the way it is.

Red Rock is one of the only places close to town we can go to feel like we can get away.

Red Rocks Nevada has always been an integral part of any road trips I've taken to the south west and it's rock features are unlike anything I've ever seen. Keeping the area to minimal development will help preserve the small sanctuary on the edge of the sea of humanity that is Las Vegas.

Keep nature alive

It would be terribly gross to destroy that area. When is it enough..its a disease and an epidemic.

I moved from Las Vegas to back East 3 years ago. The place that best defines Nevada is Red Rock. To put 5,000 homes there for vacuous, social climbers, looking for self satisfaction is an assault on the area. Leave Red Rock alone.

Please don't ruin such a beautiful place with homes and people! Some places are better left alone. If more homes are needed please build them in the desert or some area not to affect Red Rock.

There is too much traffic already in this area. We don't need more. We love this sacred area. KEEP IT RURAL.

It is of the upmost importance that we as a society help to preserve the land of the health and safety of our planet, the native animal and plant species, and the customs of the people who use the land for its intended use. Developing on the land will lead to drastic changes in the ecosystem- driving out animals, destroying plants, and disrupting those who participate in various recreational activities (often to escape the developed world) in the area. Those are the people who care about this beautiful area- let them continue to use it in peace. Don't let it turn into another exploited, degraded area.

Please protect this area from development. Clark County is already overdeveloped, water is an issue and this is a treasure in its current state. Save Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

When the road to Red Rock turns into a 2 lanes and there is not a casino or house in sight, I can breathe better. This is our sanctuary.

Keep Red Rock at it is. It is too beautiful to ruin with a massive development. A conservation area is what that says: to be protected from someone wanting to profit off of it. Save it for the people, the beauty of nature is important!

Leave Red Rock alone. There is no reason to build there. To a local, who was born here over 50 years ago, Red Rock is a beautiful, special place. Building houses anywhere near it will ruin its beauty. Vegas is too big already. The wonderful small town I grew up in is gone. The streets are filled with crime. You can't safely walk around your own neighborhood at night any longer. The gorgeous desert is being consumed by homes and businesses. We don't need more homes bringing more people here. Don't ruin our beloved Red Rock as well. Leave us one area to enjoy, please!!!

There are plenty of places to live in the valley. Please keep homes away from Red Rock National Conservation Area.
