RED ROCK needs to remain RURAL, if only for the wildlife who are already pushed out of their habitat. NO MORE DEVELOPMENT taking away our natural beauty and the NATIONAL CONSERVATION AREA.

We need to continue to preserve and protect the fragile Red Rock environment. Build homes only benefits the developers at the great loss of our beautiful land. County Commissioners: Do the right thing and not give into financial pressures of developers. Listen to the voting constituents who placed you in office. There is more at stake than a developer's desire to build more homes.

Long has Redrock been a nice escape from the city to enjoy the natural beauty Nevada has to offer. Infringing on that beauty for the sake of housing and construction will only bring destruction to the surrounding areas.

Preserving and protecting Red Rock Canyon's rural nature is critical to the quality of life for residents. Once the integrity of this area is compromised, there's no going back. Future generations of Las Vegas residents should be able to enjoy Red Rock as a rural sanctuary.

This is simply too much for a protected scenic region. I am not against housing per se, but really. And all this excess is the board’s fault and responsibility to its constituents— the citizenry who have a right to enjoy Red Rock. Shame on you!
