A good friend of ours lives near Red Rock and when we visit Las Vegas, that's where we like to spend our time... not in the casinos, but in the beautiful nature surrounding Las Vegas. Whenever we have friends visit LV, we tell them to spend some time away from the strip and visit Red Rock too. Please don't destroy this area with additional development.

My wife and I have been to Vegas in the past and found the strip absolutely boring and rather disgusting, however we loved Red Rocks. So much we are planning to go back just to explorer more of Red Rocks. It would be a true shame to lose that to an expansion of Vegas.

It will destroy the beauty of this area so close to Las Vegas. The traffic will be horrendous. The burro population killed off with highway accidents. AND, it would kill the total joy of this beautiful pure natural area outside of the city.
